What does the Taxonomy Metadata plugin do for Kleo?

Hi,

I’m trying to slim down the list of plugins I use. What does the taxonomy metadata plugin do? How does Kleo use this?

I’d like to know if I can safely deactivate it

Hello, here is the plugin description https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-metadata/
The theme use it to create custom metadata, you can deactivate it if you want or leave it, it really doesnt change much
