On the site I’m building, the blog (or any custom post archive page) loads fine when logged in, but after a few seconds it starts sending Ajax requests and loading the page again and again. Have no idea what’s going on there..
Can you please help me with this?

Thanks for help!
VasikApril 2, 2015 at 18:55 #52880RaduModeratorHello,
Your site is not reachable for me.. google chrome says “This webpage is not available”
But i can guess whats the issue.
Try to disable post likes by navigating to WP-Admin -> Theme Options -> Social Share -> scroll down until you see Enable post likes* -> set OFF and recheck.
Let me know if it works.
Cheers

When I turn it back on, the problem is back…
How can I solve this? What country are you connecting from? Can you give me your IP, so I can make the hosting company make the site work for you? Or can you just guide me to solve this issue?
Thanks

Go to same place :
WP-Admin -> Theme Options -> Social Share -> ON ! Enable post likes
In the same tab you will see Enable Likes by Ajax -> SET OFF

how can I solve this issue? do I need admin-ajax.php at all?February 27, 2018 at 17:52 #189991RaduModeratorHi,
There it’s a wp core endpoint where you login, register, reset pass etc… not sure if it’s a good idea to remove that it may broke the site functionality. but anyway that not affect at all the users since at page load they are no calling the admin-ajax.php only on login register etc..

Any ideas how to get a better Time to first byte on my tour listings?

From my personal experience TTFB can be improved by caching your homepage as html page so the php will no be needed to run, it will server the html already generated file, you can do it with a plugin like wp super cache or w3 total cache. A second important point it’s your server ! IF the server responds slow and serve the resources after 2-3 second that not helps you and you will need a more responsive server the TTFB can be influenced by the internet connection speed at the server or/and client side.
