Widget edit error

Hello,

I am trying to edit a footer widget but I keep getting the following message when I try and save: An error has occurred. Please reload the page and try again. 

This issue continues each time I try and reload the page.

Please could you send through some advice about how this can be resolved?

Hello, how are you editing the widget? You should change it at appearance > widgets

Hi Laura,

I was editing in the on page customization but once I go and edit in the back end like you suggested it seems to be working fine!
