Widget is empty

Hello,

I updatet the Kleo-theme  and it seems all my widgets got emptied.

How did that happen? And more important, how do I prevent this the next time I update the Theme?

Hello, did you update the child theme also? ( you shouldn’t )
If not, do you have the main theme activated? ( should be child theme )
When you update the theme, only the theme files change, not the database where current widget data is stored

No, didn’t update the childtheme…
the topic theme works just fine in bbrpess itself…
But I have it on the page through a shortcode… There seems to be the problem???
And bad timing…. we are suppose to go live today
