Woo Commerce or Paid Memberships Pro?

Don’t these accomplish the same thing?  I keep getting an error message for woo commerce templates.

Which one connects to the members page?

Hello, woocommerce is good for a shop, while paid memberships pro is good for membership levels.
To have restrictions, levels, subscriptions etc, use pmpro 🙂
About the template issues, that should be resolved in the next theme update 🙂

We’re using PMPro and have deactivated Woo Commerce as we don’t need a shop – however when you select a membership option to pay now, you get directed to the checkout page which just displays the woo commerce checkout placeholder [woocommerce_checkout]

If we activate Woo Commerce then when you select your membership option to pay you get directed to the basket page that says your cart is empty.

If anyone could advise that would be great

– at the bottom there’s some fields for debit card information – why do they need to be there? Can we remove them?
