Woocommerce email templates

Hi team, I am on Woocommerce  – settings – Emails.

I am a bit confused. When I click on this” Click here to preview your email template” it takes me to an email template. My question is: do I have to change all the writing in the email template? if I have to do that where should i do it?

Testing my website I realized that when somebody buy a product from my website, the person doesn’t receive a confirmation email for the order. is that normal?

But I receive the new order in my inbox when someone buy a product.
