Woocommerce missing from theme options

I needed to remove the shopping cart icon from the menu the documentation says it should appear in theme options but there is no woocommerce in my theme options even though woocommerce is installed and showing Active in the installation files..

I do have buddypress installed and this is a multisite installation maybe that changes where the button would be?
