Woocommerce question with Kleo and order exporting / importing

I have a somewhat specific question about Woocommerce with Kleo, and exporting orders into a spreadsheet that can automatically upload to an outside FTP. I am going to write the rest in a private reply. Sorry, couldn’t figure out how to make this private initially. Thanks.

Ok Seventh Queen people, I am sincerely looking for some guidance here. What I am asking might be a little out of the realm of your usual tech help, but please bear with me.

A friend of mine that has written and had a book published is asking for me to build a website for his book. The site would be fairly basic, which is easy for me to do. However, he does want to sell the book on the website. Essentially there would be just one item for sale on the website … the book.

He is going to have two order options: Within the USA and Canada, and international. International is not an issue as it will link to an outside vendor system. The USA / Canada orders though would need to be processed on my end within the website. However, the publisher of those orders are requiring the content be output in an excel spreadsheet in the format they provided and to automatically be uploaded via FTP to a folder they host.

I am very new to ecommerce websites, and normally wouldn’t take this project on, but it is for a friend, the website itself is basic enough for me to do it, and it has a chance to be very big.

I have attached the file the publisher company sent over as far as what they need (there are a few tabs). Is any of this familiar to you all as far as what Woocommerce can do, or is there another ecommerce option you suggest? Also, I might have to have all of this (except the website design / layout, etc) set up by someone else, so if you have any preferred people you suggest that can set up a Woocommerce store or another storefront system that can do this, I would appreciate it.

Thank you for any help you can provide. He is wanting the website launched in a few weeks, so I am pushing hard to try to make this happen quick.

You should really be asking over on the woocommerce forums. What you’re asking for is not uncommon (at least it wasnt when I was using Magento) so there’s probably a plugin for it already. Once you find a solution that others are using, we can help you with any style issues. Though it sounds like its all backend processing and Kleo would never even come into play.
