September 11, 2017 at 18:27 #173280monsurc1ParticipantHi, Thanks for your answer.
But this is not a good answer at all. I have search the forum and found similar problems’ solution with code. This type of problems should have solution from theme developers and should not be come through a third party plugin.
If you are not understand this, you should not receive any appreciation from the theme users.
Thank you.

September 12, 2017 at 12:06 #173383monsurc1ParticipantHi Laura,
I appreciate your help. But you may raise this to your upper level colleague. The solution I have found in the forum didn’t work for me but very similar to mine.
FYI, you can check this solution https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/logout-issue-2#post-132715
As developers of the theme you should not always refer to a third party plugin. It may destroy your credibility. Blame me if I am wrong.
Thanks

September 15, 2017 at 17:04 #173797RaduModeratorHi,
I see, what’s your hosting provider? somehow wp-engine? if yes that can be caused by the extra security checks.
At the current moment, I cannot tests what you describe cuz the website it says maintenance.
Can you please provide the admin credentials to take a closer look ?
Cheers

R.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionSeptember 22, 2017 at 15:11 #174384RaduModeratorHi,
Fixed, just replace this file content: /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/assets/js/functions.js
with this one: https://pastebin.com/raw/3JRX9xse
That’s all, this will be included in next theme update.
Let me know if it’s ok on your side
If you have any cache plugin or service make sure to purge all caches

My change cannot cause like you show me… I don’t encounter that.
My change to functions file will trigger only when you click on the lost pass that comes from the response, or maybe I don’t know the steps to reproduce like on your screenshot.
Anyway, my change doesn’t handle the backend.
Cheers

Make sure the issue to not be caused by something else. de-activate all plugins except buddypress… and also the child theme to test, empty all caches.

Thanks for your assistance.
The lost password link is ok now with the buddyapp login page. The issue came out when the session expired because of inactivity. I was away from my workstation for an hour or so. The screenshot came up because of that.
Would you mind to check it for me please? My site details are remain as before.
FYI, My plugins are ok with other themes. BUT i’m gonna check it again.Thank you again.
September 26, 2017 at 16:39 #174831RaduModeratorHi,
There isn’t loaded…so please replace the file content /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/assets/js/functions.js with this one https://pastebin.com/raw/3JRX9xse
I’ve noticed you have a cache plugin please purge all caches and de-activated it for a moment…
And an important thing activate development mode -> ON from wp-admin -> theme options
This will load css/js files not minified.
Let me know
Cheers

Mark as a solutionSeptember 27, 2017 at 17:38 #174987RaduModeratorNow the file seems to be replaced with the content provided by me, you will have just to activate development mode, I’ve told you in my previous post, maybe you have missed.

I thought development mode. Anyway, it seems working now. Is the file you provided can be minified and uploaded?
Thanks.
September 28, 2017 at 15:17 #175081RaduModeratorWait until we release new theme update that contains also the minified file.
Or you can minify it manually if you really want.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is solved. But I found another issue. When I type in chasei.co.uk/wp-admin — it brings out normal wordpress admin login page which I don’t like to show my admin users.
Can it be solved as well?
Thanks
September 29, 2017 at 16:49 #175174RaduModeratorHi,
That’s the normal behavior of the WordPress /wp-admin and wp-login.php are default WP routes.
You should search for a plugin that helps you to achieve what you need.
A plugin that hides the wp login url : https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158
