Hi,
I’ve been trying to set up a membership site with 4 separate, private forums (one for each membership level.)
In order to do that, I created private groups with Buddypress and pmpro-roles plugin.
My biggest issue is
1) That I can only restrict viewing other profiles either for all members or not at all. There is no option to restrict it based on groups. How can I make sure that only members of a group can see each others profiles? And not members from the other groups?
I am also wondering,
2) Is there a way to set-upĀ a page with 4 different logins? One login for each forum? IĀ like the membership-level page but would like something similar for login, not for registration. Is that possible?
Am I better off to install 4 subdomains, and run one forum on each subdomain? I tried for days to figure this out and can’t find a solution.
The problem is that my client wants to manually add members to the memberships and groups – they’re not open for registration. (Although he would like to add that in the future.)
I would really appreciate some adviseĀ on this. Is this possible?
