Youtube or Vimeo video on users profile ?

Hey,

This may be a question for kpcrew and the keymasters. As I saw on your site kpcrew you had extra tabs on the profile header, I would love to add this and any help would be great if you wouldn’t mind sharing the knowledge 🙂

I also noticed a myselfsummary tab on the profile and I saw it matched the summary under the profile photo on the members page and I would be grateful for any recommendations on how to add this

That works with a field named “youtube”

See this topic to add more tabs next to profile image. Those in fact are profile groups and you add them by their name

Hi, None of the links with code-examples work.

I want my users to be able to add videos from youtube/vimeo etc to their profile media. Now only video uploading is possible, how can we also allow users to use video’s from youtube/vimeo, etc. ?

@wannabe links compatible with wordpress oEmbed should work just by pasting it in the activity content on a separate line
If that doesn’t suite your needs then try looking for a plugin
