September 4, 2014 at 20:57 in reply to: slider revolution plugin critical-vulnerability do we need an update? #27645Angelineio14ParticipantHi thanks for the quick response!
I looked at the develper’s page. I think it is here:
http://codecanyon.net/item/slider-revolution-responsive-wordpress-plugin/2751380#item-description__version-4-6-skywood-25th-august-2014And Version 4.6 SkyWood (25th August 2014) is the most current version.
I downloaded the theme package from theme forest like you said but looks like the version included is :
Version: 4.5.95 for the slider revolution plugin.is that good enough to “AVOID CRITICAL VULNERABILITY”
Thanks!

I reinstalled wordpress version 3.92
then installed all plugins mentioned above before bbpress and it worked. i did woocommerce first then rtmedia, then Paid Memberships Pro then bbpress. did not install Revolution Slider bc fatcow said i should no bc of security vulnerability.http://blog.sucuri.net/2014/09/slider-revolution-plugin-critical-vulnerability-being-exploited.html
Angelineio14Participantok i deleted the plugins folder in my wordpress and created a new one. That deactivated all plugins. I then installed woocommerce – current version. then i continued to install plugins one by one. all did fine with woocommerce except rtMedia .
after rtmedia got a 500 internal error.
help! thanks
Angelineio14ParticipantJust downgraded woocommerce plugin to
Version 2.1.11
it was installed. I will test it now.
