Chris AndersenParticipant
that sounds good 🙂
I’m not familiar with programming but willing to learn.Where exactly should I give the section an id?
Chris AndersenParticipantThanks 🙂
don’t we try the second step before the first?
I try to see it as a register process.
1. step: User wants to register. What I did… I installed the Meta Widget in the 1st footer sitebar…
but there is no register link… only a login link.I’m sure I miss something.
What should the user use to register as a member?… or which function should the admin enable that the user can register?Chris AndersenParticipantTried it. Doesn’t work at the described place. Did it work for you when you tried it on my page?
Chris AndersenParticipantWould be great, if we could have width settings for each inner container and the child elements of the specific inner container would overtake these settings.
Anyway… yes :-), let’s start with 100% width for the text container and see what it can.
Chris AndersenParticipantThanks for the code:-) Doesn’t help me 🙁
I tried all your code options, by pasting them into the general css box and in the container css box.
Perhaps I was not clear enough in the description of my needs.
Therefore I created a simple post. You can see it in my admin under posts with the title:
01 Simple Test
Page id: 9772The only VC element you can see in there is a simple text container from the VC elements.
This text container should have 100 % width. (Just like the navigation header).
Also see the attachment. How do I widen this text container to 100% width?

Chris AndersenParticipantboth… I thought I could have a container in Kleo (VC) elements with a 100% width which I can use for both, posts and pages.
… or what would you recommend?Chris AndersenParticipantDon’t want to overuse you.
I just tried to register a new member with the meta widget. Somehow I’m lost.
The meta widget only offers Login and I cannot see any Register.I know it like the Login link is replaced with a Register link as soon you are logged out.
Just installed the Meta Widget. Try.I don’t understand… Am I missing something? Do I need an extra register plugin with Kleo?
Chris AndersenParticipantups… wrong link… this one is the right for Chris:
http://glitzfleck.com/mitglieder/chris-andersen/Chris AndersenParticipant(smile) exactly… where was it?
I try it in another way.
Where do you have your “About us” templates 🙂Chris AndersenParticipantthe best would be if I could find each element of the member elements in the VC elements.
Where? I’d like to have it on a page like an “About us” page.
I could imagine to use the following elements of the members page on an “About us Page”
– Picture of a member in a circle with
– Actual online sign (blue point)
– Last online info
– News of the member
– Paragraph with further information and all page functionalityIf it is not possible via VC, it is perhaps possible to choose a member with picture in a circle by shortcode, put the shortcode in a new page and write some page paragraphs.
But you know the theme best. How do I realize this most efficiently?
Chris AndersenParticipantGreat 🙂
There is still a gap to the right and left side. It would be cool to have the same 100% width as in the menu bar.Is that possible?
Chris AndersenParticipantIt would be great if the pictures always fill 100% width in a responsive way, meaning there should not be a gap if the next picture doesn’t fit perfectly.
All pictures in a row should zoom to the perfect size to fit to the actual screen solution.Chris AndersenParticipantok… found it. Inserted a post grid.
Now it looks like the new attachment.I’d like to use full screen width.
Only have found under
Post grid settings/General settings:
– Grid elements per row
– Gap
How can I stretched the post tiles to full width with an automatic arranged number of posts per row ?Attachments:

…and changed the footer color in combination of options and additional css code.Chris AndersenParticipantDon’t understand. I’d like to change the red color into my orange (fc7169) and expected a layout option for that.
How and where exactly can I do this under
theme options/layout?or which code should I use if there is no option like that?
As I wrote… the actual added css-code would work only with an undesired new red row above the footer and other effects. What would you do?
Chris AndersenParticipantUnderstand… I can see your last code gives the same effect as mine.
Just look at the attachment. I’d like to avoid this additional big red line above the normal footer.
Which code would you recommend instead?
Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.Chris AndersenParticipantOK… now the socket is green but there is no color change in the footer.
Btw. the socket settings under theme options have always been working.
Just the footer settings are not consistent.Tried this:
COPY CODEdiv.wpb_wrapper { background: #fc7169 !important; }
It solves my footer challenge but is pushing the above color also in the
div class kleo-gap.Any code idea how it only effects the wpb_wrapper background color?
Chris AndersenParticipantTried to paste your code in:
Theme options/General settings/Quick CSS:
doesn’t work 🙁What am I doing wrong?
Chris AndersenParticipantHave nearly the same problem: The footer bgcolors don’t change, if I change them under
Theme options/styling options/footer/background colorIn my case the bgcolor of the footer changes but not the bgcolor of the text in the footer.
…and if I change the socket bgcolor, these colors are changing but not the footer bgcolors like the guys above wrote. -
