Hi, I’m sorry for all the back and forth on this. I followed your instructions but i’m not seeing the message when i search “successfully.” I’m not sure what i am doing wrong.

I think I might be missing something. I copied the ‘activate.php’ file from wp-content/themes/Kleo/buddypress/members and pasted it under wp-content/themes/kleo-child/buddypress/members. (please note, under ‘kleo-child,’ I had added the directory folder ‘buddypress’ and within this folder, I added members. I did this because you had specified I copy the activate.php to “the child theme, with the same file path as in the main theme.” Please let me know if I misunderstood your instructions.)
I then edited the text in the activate.php file with my new content. I tested my registration and I am not seeing the new message – it still says “You have successfully created your account! To begin using this site you will need to activate your account via the email we have just sent to your address.”
What am I missing?

Yes, I could get in. I was having trouble initially, but instead of using the top entry fields in FileZila, I went File > Site Manager > New Site and entered the attached info. I got in without an issue. If you have file wall security settings, it might prevent you from establishing a connection. I had to bypass McAfee in order to connect.If it’s easier, I can make the change if let me know what to do.

Hi sorry,i didn’t see ftp. I use WPengine for my hosting and FileZilla for FTP. Here is the FTP info:

I dragged each text object (circled in attached picture) as far as it will allow, and even tried deleting the fade out animation, but the text still disappears. It stays longer than before, but after several seconds, it goes away.
