ParticipantI literally deactivated all plugins except “GD bbPress Tools” and you guessed it, that was the one causing the error. Its odd but at least its fixed. Thanks for your help!

ParticipantThank you, but after testing it out, it doesn’t do what we need it to do unfortunately.
Is there a fix to our current plugin with your theme? Before the last theme update, this plugin was working fine. It just acts like a broken link when you click “select files”. Surely theres a fix..that is literally the only thing not working. This is crucial to my website. Can you please take a look and see if its something that can be easily fixed?
Thank you so much in advance for the help..

Participantor do you have a recommendation on a plugin i can use for my website to have a community files page where they can upload their own free files for free download? The plugin developer emailed me back and said he’s had over 500 successful installs of his pro plugin and it has to be the theme causing the issue..
I apologize – he’s being rather rude at this point and is offering no help in fixing the problem. Maybe you can help me isolate the issue or recommend a good plugin or something i can use instead of this one for our members to upload their files for download.

ParticipantI use CM Download Manager and since updating your theme, it won’t let me upload files when i click on the button. The plugin developer says its a problem with two JS errors (screenshot attached). I tried deactivating all plugins but that wasn’t the problem. Any ideas why it won’t allow me to upload the files and select screenshots? It just acts like a broken link.

ParticipantThanks so much. It worked. I’ll contact the plugin’s author to submit these bugs to him.
Thanks for your quick help!

ParticipantThanks for your help. I ended up using inspector and finding the css code and went into my ftp and edited the files manually. Turns out that the reason the boxes were cut off was because the css was completely missing two rules. One was correct at 100% but had to change that to 1228px instead of 100% which fixed the problem and the other one, the button box right above the text box, was missing the width rule so i also set that to 1228px and it fixed my problem.
I suspect that using one of the minify/caching plugins early on in creation was the cause of the problem.
Anyways, thanks for your help and I’ll take a look the lightbox script too. 🙂
You can mark this as solved.

ParticipantAlso, can you direct me to the topic where it explains how to make images pop up in lightbox as you do here on your site with the attachments??

ParticipantSorry to reply so late.. It’s still doing the same thing and cutting it off.. would it be possible for you to log in my site and check it out?

ParticipantHmm.. i tried disabling all plugins for bbpress as well as any other non-related theme plugins and it’s still showing the same problem. I’m wondering if my css is messed up anywhere because in the past, i had a plugin that minified certain code and quickly realized that this would mess up quite a bit so i deleted that. Maybe its leftover broken code?
