Hi I fixed the color issue – but still need to shave off the excess border on the left side. The right side border is perfectly flush but the left side has excess border (past the edge of the video.)
lululolaParticipantHi I’m saying that I don’t want the “likes” button to also be centered when I choose to center the text above – because it just doesn’t look good when the “likes” is centered but the “read more” is right next to it. I want to keep make the “likes” button stay to the left and the “read more” to the right, and the above text centered.
lululolaParticipantI have since found your code for changing the colors (from another post, below, thanks), but I still need to fix it so that the left side border is not thicker than the right. Please advise, thanks.
.masonry-listing .format-gallery .post-title, .masonry-listing .format-standard .post-title, .masonry-listing .format-image .post-title, .masonry-listing .format-video .post-title, .masonry-listing .format-image .post-title, .masonry-listing .format-audio .post-title {
border-color: red !important;
}lululolaParticipantFigured out the solution! I had to edit on the PAGE of Home Pinterest – and modify the theme header there (deselect the transparent header option, etc.) and then suddenly, the color choices I made on the Theme Options/style finally took effect. But note, I did not change the Page myself – somehow my uploading demo content resulted in different choices on the Home Pinterest page (or more likely I had a duplicate page and deleted the wrong one so I never thought to go to the page to modify what had already been set. There are TOO MANY places to change colors and styles at! Which would be fine if they synced up! But seemingly the page options override whatever you do elsewhere.
lululolaParticipantYes I used that code but that wasn’t for the menu. I’ve cleared everything on two browsers. Why did adding the demo content alter my menu (and header placement)? What should I try next?
lululolaParticipantColors for main menu (except hover link color or so) for will not change – AGAIN. I’ve tried changing from every vantage to no avail. I have cleared cookies, caching, everything.
lululolaParticipantOMG thank you! It was the cookies! I have cleared and it is fixed. I’d also come across the PHP update solution by searching and that issue is resolved too, thank you.
lululolaParticipantThat’s exactly when it happened… I have cleared everything three times on Chrome but will try again after I resolve the NEW PROBLEM:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in… plugins/js_composer/include/templates/shortcodes/vc_tta_pageable_section.php on line 10
Any help for that would be appreciated or do I have to start a new topic?
Thanks.
lululolaParticipantSpoke too soon, the colors I have chosen and show that they are chosen do not show up. I have refreshed the browser upteen times to no avail. This has been all day one way or another, the colors are delayed or not at all or temporarily holding.
lululolaParticipantBTW, CHROME is still not displaying PINTEREST style (just full width posts). Only Safari is displaying PINTEREST style. I’ve cleared the cache twice. My Chrome is up to date. Please advise.
lululolaParticipantI’ve discovered now after another wasted day, that the Visual Composer does not work. Seemingly the only way for my style changes to hold, is to change them via “edit page” or “theme options” and completely avoid Visual Composer. How shall I go about fixing that – so I can use Visual Composer?
lululolaParticipantI have managed to get PINTEREST back by clicking “query” in the VS module… something I never had to do before.
But I still have problems retaining the colors I select in main area “column” containing Pinterest-style posts. It will not retain the border color. Can you advise regarding that?
lululolaParticipantPlease help! Nothing I do (see above – I’ve tried reloading everything from scratch) has brought back the Pinterest style layout. I’m now working in a different browser too.
lululolaParticipantActually, I don’t have the PINTEREST style grid back – it’s just a basic grid that appears now. Ugh.
lululolaParticipantI already tried that but the page was not among the options any longer. I have since RE-installed WP, and re-installed the theme, and I STILL have a problem. So then I reinstalled the Visual Composer, and still had the same problem. Now I have put post grid in the column (previously it had “kleo posts”) and now I have the Pinterest style coming up but WITHOUT the demo media. I have the demo titles only.
