Hey folks,
I did the following:1. Added the code to functions.php. No change in frequency.
2. Adjusted the AJAX refresh interval to 180000. No change in frequency.
3. Took the function out and added the Heartbeat Control plugin with the options set as “Disable Everywhere” and override heartbeat frequency set at 60 seconds. No change in frequency.So I disabled notifications completely by setting the AJAX refresh interval to 0 and it’s still growing.
Thoughts?

I don’t think you are following what I was trying to say. Follow me here:1. Large group.
2. On the group’s page use the “Search Members” feature right below the page’s sub menu to search the group’s members based on a set of criteria you enter into the search box. In the example you provided it would be right below Home, Forum, Members, and Media menu options.
3. If there’s more than one page of search results when you try to move the page two of the results then it redirects to page 2 of the membership of that group, not page 2 of the search results of the group.I hope that makes sense. If you aren’t able to follow what I’m doing, I could record a demo video for you.
It has to be the theme….all plugins except BuddyPress deactivated, with default theme everything is fine, when Kleo child activated it doens’t work as intended.
If you want a login to my live site to test the behavior, just let me know.

I decided to go with a default group cover image that blends with the breadcrumbs title bar so I’m good here.
