I have set the default template to have a right sidebar and still not working. I have set up in appearance – widgets and made sure that the correct sidebar is showing on the blog posting.

I am having the same problem. Actually, cannot get sidebars to work on most pages. I have set up under the Appearance > Widgets page. Is there any other reason they would not be showing up?
