Thanks for the reply arno8.
No, I have not setup my smtp server, so when the user register no email is sent.
I want to know if this email would be sent if the smtp server is setup, and if not, what step are there after the smtp server is set up.

I receive following errors
Fatal error: Class ‘DOMDocument’ not found in /var/www/html/*****/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/parsers.php on line 61
