You didnt really find a solution. You found a work around. Its complete BS that wpengine wont own up to this.

Urls should post fine under normal circumstances.

Log into to kleo’s demo site to see how things should work so you can see exactly whats broken on your site. (I do it all the time)

keep us updated. I just found another site that’s loading the scripts twice. I think it wpengine made a change within the last 2 days.

Hi sharmstr – I am having a similar problem with duplicate posts and duplicate private messages and am using wpengine as well. Some of the replies are marked private in this thread – would you mind sharing with me the scripts you said were the fix?

The fix has nothing to do with that. It has to do with NOT being able to post.
