Add custom icons to visual composer icon drop-down

Hello,
I am trying to add 4 custom icons to the icon drop-down in Edit Feature Settings in Visual Composer (or to the icon option in the shortcode icon=“my-icon”. I could not ask the question on VC’s forums because I do not have a code. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated!

Looks like you haven’t upgraded since there is a visual icon selector now.

The icons are fonts. Is your custom icons fonts as well?

No. You’d have to custom code it.

Great, thank you for your time. One last question, can I make the entire featured item a link?

No, but its been sort of suggested. You can vote on it and add that you want the entire thing to be a link.

At this point the only link you can do is if you add it to the item text.
