add media button rtmedia in activity stream is hidden

Hi there is an issue with the add media button in activity stream. When KLEO is activated that button is hidden, when I use another theme the button is there. pls see pics for more details;

oh by the way, vanilla wordpress, vanilla kleo , only rtmedia and activity privacy are installed.
