BUDDYPRESS EMAIL

Hi 7queen,

This is from the BUDDYPRESS EMAIL on the admin EMAIL MENU.

This is freaky looking or is there’s some bugs, is has {{{{  }}}} around the text? Anyhow, I clicked on any links to view the message, it takes me to  some kind of page I never seems before, However, it DOESN’T go direct to the message ? Unless that’s how buddypress email page look like? Over all, the username and usermessage is codes NOT links, this also strange? Then I also clicked the below link say “go to the discussion”, It end up to the 404 page?

Please look at the image 1 then 2 see is funny! I never see this before, but I don’t think is right by looking at it?

Please help and can you see why is not going to the right page but to a funky page then to the 404 ?

Do I need to repair the buddypress (If so, please show me how) or do I need to set some kind of check mark anywhere to be work right?

Hello, it seems to be using that code where the site name and sender name will be, you see that but its how the code places the name of the website etc, for example, “Hello {{name}}” You send that mail to 50 people, they get something like “Hello Laura”, “Hello John”, basically is where the name should be. Again this is just an example.

Anyways, if you have any doubt about that, you should contact the plugin creator, as this is not related to sweetdate theme, not included at sweetdate.

I think I was doing some testing and did many changes. That could happen also? I will do a test again and to check to see anything for the buddypress site.

Hey DQ,

These emails are new in the newest version of buddypress. Now you can use images, links and colours in the messages people get after registering, activity and so on.

So it us a neat new feature of bp.
