Disabling Magnific Popup renders activity stream and photo gallery invisible

Hi there,

 

I followed the steps here https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/i-want-to-disable-magnific-popup to disable the Magnific Popups for images, as I’m already getting another lightbox through another plugin I am using. It worked, and it got disabled, but it also rendered the entire activity stream and photos uploaed through rtmedia on profile invisible..

I commented the section at hand within the minified version of app.js, but that might not be the correct way? If I tried to comment the section in the unminfied version, and then minify it, it wouldn’t minify because of an unexpected “)” and an unexpected “,”

How to disable it but still keep every other function as is except the image lightbox popup?

Hi @idlewanderer, please check that topic again, one of my colleagues provided an easier patch. This will also become an option in our theme options panel starting next theme update.
