Font Icons in Post Title

Hi there,

I have been trying to add a font awesome icon to the post titles. On the post page itself it shows perfect and works simply by adding <code> <i class=”fa fa-book”></i> </code> in the post title.

The issue arises on the VC output of the title on the homepage where it overlays the featured image with a missing code line (see image attached) and there is no icon shown in the post title.

I have tried a few available plugins that basicly add an icon for me (in the same way I do with the code) but the same issue arises with the plugins.

Is there some code I should add to the function.php to get this to work or is it something else?

The WordPress strips the tags from title.. We don’t have a solution to can achieve that
