October 16, 2014 at 20:25 #31963LocaleParticipantHello Sarah,
I apologize for the late response on my end.
I have went through your scenario multiple times and I wasn’t able to get the exact details regarding the situation in which your domain loads twice.
The only valid point I can make is that it is not a redirect on a domain level, as your domain initially loads once, as expected, then loads multiple files and then gets the redirect.
This is the last file which loads before the redirect occurs: http://glz.gaylocale.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/6659415437_fc7dff89f8_z.jpg
I recommend verifying the details with the developer as they might be able to create a time line and verify what is causing the domain to re-load.
Also, I’d like to mention that response from your web server is longer, specifically around 2 seconds which is what makes this situation even worse, as your domain loads twice. I recommend talking to the web hosting company about the issue and verifying why does your domain take too long to establish connection. The exact term for the interval is Time to first byte: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_To_First_Byte
Kindly, let us know if you need further assistance from our end.
Best regards and best of luck.

MaxCDN Support EngineerOctober 18, 2014 at 15:37 #32099AbeKeymasterI see the request you mean and it looks like it is doing another request to the site but not a redirect. This does not happen on our demo install and try to look at your settings and see if there is something that could cause that.
Also try to disable some pluginsdemo: http://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/

I have no idea where to look- this doesn’t seem normal. I didn’t do anything to anything- I am not experienced in changing these things so I haven’t touched any editing of the theme, only what Catalin advised on the font size of the footer.
October 21, 2014 at 16:32 #32406AbeKeymastertry to disable some plugins you have installed. It is hard to tell if it does not happen on the demo and on my testing environment
