currently the puddy press profiles are pretty “static” – it is not possible to create sections within the profile, even the profile field titles only have a given space and don’t wrap the text. It could be possible to include a picture directly on the profile page, like a logo for example or pictures of contact persons or team members. Then the profile could be in two columns instead of just one column over the entire width of the site.

After all the buddy press profiles are pretty, but compare to member/user profile plugins (that often don’t work btw.) the features to customise profiles are very very limited

Also the MembershipPro plugin is extremely useless, because it is by default not pretty at all and very limited. You can achieve a great flexibility with a (premium) form plugin that also creates wp-users, no need to stick to that.

And then the payment methods: Not sure in how many countries companies are really using credit cards for their payments, at least in Europe this is simply non imaginable. Therefore we need wire transfer or direct debit payment options – always.

    See if this helps…

You can create ‘sections’ using xprofile groups.

There is custom css presented in this forum that will change the labels and data to be on separate lines. https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/buddypress-profile-fields

You can use this plugin to add a profile image: https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-xprofile-custom-fields-type/

There is also a suggestion to have different profile layouts: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/various-profile-layout-options Its not exactly what you were talking about, but could be expanded to offer some customization in theme options.

You are not required to use PM Pro. Others are using S2member.

Payment methods are controlled by whatever plugin you are using, not Kleo.

    Dear Sharmstr,

thanks for the swift answer! I will look into that. However as a non-coder I am always sceptical what updates will do to custom CSS and coded customisations. The plugin surely has its sense.
