Unfortunately this is not related to the theme, seems to be some sort of incompatibility between Polylang and BuddyPress plugins. I recommend you to open a ticket on Polylang support and see if they have any solutions for this issue.

November 9, 2015 at 18:01 #86412AndreiModeratorThe Kleo past conflicts with Polylang were related to other theme elements like page title and item likes widget.
Groups and Members pages are part of the BuddyPress plugins and that’s why the compatibility issue is between this two plugins, you can test that by changing to a default wordpress theme.
Also, this issue doesn’t have anything related to the ticket you’ve opened in the past in Polylang support, where you had issue with your language switcher and nothing related to buddypress.
I founded some old posts showing that Polylang is not compatible with BuddyPress but dunno if that changed somehow till present, so I strongly recommend you to open a new support ticket on Polylang support site.
Cheers
