In the profile, there is a problem that in the profile editor it is separated by hyphen, since when using the chat to go to the profile in the search bar, it has “+” and this results in a search failure. How can I resolve this?

 

Ps. It’s not just with chat, with all the polls it is.

You are able to reproduce that on the demo ?

Do you have the latest version of WordPress ? If not update those

Do you have the latest version of BuddyApp theme ? If not update those

Do you have the latest version of plugins installed ? If not update those

If you de-activate all plugins it works ? if yes enable back plugins one by one to identify what causes this.

If you de-activate the child theme it works ?

R: No. Child theme is already disabled.

R: No. Second themeforest, in caracteristics, the version compatible is 4.7.x.
I was afraid to update and give a problem that did not even occur in another website that we developed.

Please check the wise chat plugin settings in wp-admin -> settings -> Wise Chat Settings -> Appearance ->

Username Display Mode should be -> Link to the page
Username Link Template should be -> /members/{username} or http://portalapper.com.br/members/{username}

No, this are OK.
My problem is when click in name of the user, the name stay with “+” not “-“, and this does the theme not work right.

Whats a other possible problem?

Can you tell me exacly where you click and the username it’s with + instead the – ?

In the wise chat right? but where from what page URL?

Please provide also the wp admin credentials once with the reply of my previous questions

The plugin not conflict with our theme, on my local install i cannot reproduce that, that why I’ve recommended you to ask the plug developer if he knows something about that.
