Sensei 1.9 – Errors

After I updated Sensei I have problem with buttons which are almost invisible now, and description of courses is not showing up.

Hello, it has to be an issue with your browser as you can see in my screenshot it looks like, try to delete cache of the browser or try another device

Another error is that sometimes on course main page information from shop appears:
Message in rectangle says that on of the products from shop was delated from cart because it’s not available aand you can’t order it anymore. Please contact…. – So basically notification from WooCommerce.

Hi,

For the moment we’ve didn’t tested with Sensei 1.9 which is a major update and has a lots of changes in the core compared to the 1.8.x versions.

We’ll give it a test in the following period to see if we need to adjust any of the design related issues, but all others seems to be coming from the “Sensei for BuddyPress” plugin, maybe that plugin is not yet compatible with Sensei 1.9, so please try to deactivate it and see what issues get solved.

I know Sensei 1.9 was in beta, don’t know if it got out, but meanwhile it gets at a stable version and all related addons get updated for the 1.9 version I recommend you to keep with the 1.8.x version.

What About This notofication from woocommerce? This doesn’t look good for my customers? Where does it come from ?

It’s most probably something related to the way you have setup your Sensei and WooCommerce to work.
I’m not a specialist in setting up Sensei plugin so for more help maybe you can ask more at WooCommerce.

Can you help me with customizing location of buttons on course page, and location of course progress ? I want to make it look like on attatched image.

Your request is not exactly easy because it will require modifications at template level, not just a few simple css hacks.

In the near future we’ll go over the new Sensei version and we’ll try to improve it, and maybe we’ll take into consideration your feedback regarding the layout and elements position.

Meanwhile if you really need to do template modifications I strongly recommend you to find and hire a developer to help you on such tasks.

Ok. Thanks. I hope You will take some time to work on Sensei. It’s good, but I think you can make it awesome. Now this buttons are all over the place. And the example I provided is better looking, and logical for the viewer. I would also boost the colors of buttons. Is there an easy way to change them maybe now?

Nothing out of the box that can be done now, or maybe my colleague @Laura can help you with some small css stylings.

I strongly recommend you to keep with the 1.8.x version till we manage to go over the 1.9 version and announce it officially compatible.
