I have several issues installing your theme using your demo data (demo-sweetdate.xml) when following your instruction guide (@ https://archived.seventhqueen.com/sweetdate/article/install-update). The guide seems not entirely up to date as some of your pictures are different from what I see on my WordPress installation (e.g. Homepage Depreciation, Search form customisation).

Btw. I have upgraded to the newest version 3.0.1. as well.

Perhaps there might be a problem as the file sweetdate-child.zip is dated to 12. February 2014. Only the sweetdate.zip is dated to 29. September 2017?

I expect that if I buy your theme, use your instruction and your demo data that I can replicate what you advertise on your website. So far I was not able to do so. I really would appreciate your help. Most important are points 4,5,6 below.

Thanks a lot in advance, Michael

    In detail:

    1. Buddypress profile fields cannot be imported (see screenshot “Buddypress profile fields”)

    2. Sweetdate -> Hompage is depreciated. Where should I make these needed settings instead?

    3. Sweetdate -> Buddypress -> Search form customisation is  depreciated. Where should I make these needed settings instead?

    4. On homepage the login section is not displayed correctly (BP Profile Search 4.7.7: Form 876 was not found, or has no fields. ->  (see screenshot “14:55”)

    5. Register and Activation page do not load in Elementor (see screenshot “22.42”)

    6. Cannot get the Register and Activation page to display. It seems there is an incompatibility of these buddypress pages and your theme.

Hello 🙂 I am sorry that you are experiencing these issues, i will be happy to guide you in the process 🙂
1- Please go to Users > Profile fields and you should be able to add your profile fields ( base group are used for registration page )
2- Do not worry about it, just follow the instructions given to import the homepage
3- The new search for setup is at Users > Profile search
4- This is for the search form, you need to create the form at Users > Profile search and then edit the homepage using elementor visual editor at Pages > Home > Edit then click at the message to choose the form.
5- Those pages cant be edited, they are used by buddypress and their content is dynamically generated by code
6- You need to select them at Settings > Buddypress > Pages and you will only see them if you are logged out
