I have seen that BuddyApp has many features that could be added to SD.
For example, better search criteria (ajax) = members, groups, etc.
Best menu.
Support for WiseChat.
Icon + Text on buttons. Larger buttons. A more striking style.
I thought SD 3.0 would be like this. But you decided to keep the same old style.

I dont understand your instructions regarding the php snippets in the functions.php file and I dont use child theme.
I tried to restore my site thru backup but now I cant access Sweetdate in admin and my logo is gone
Is there anyone who i can contact to fix this update for me, i pay of course

Can you please open a new ticket related to your issue only please ? Explain in the ticket what the problem is and provide WP credentials + ftp credentials.
Meanwhile you can ask the hosting support to revert your site files + site db before the date where you have updated the theme.
If you not using child theme i can update the theme on your server free for you !Just open a new ticket with requested details.
@Roader, please stop asking about components from other themes to add it into sweetdate cuz you need them for your project…. ask a developer to implement exactly as you need.

Now the logo it’s with http url instead https can be changed from wp-admin -> theme options -> general settings ->
The theme options error it’s fixed, it’s also fixed in latest theme update.

Glad I did not click the update link on my live version though!. My site is gay, but I don’t bite. Get some black tape or something when disgusting to you, I respect that too. Not only that, I do not believe in dictators or being the only number one. Willing to share a lot of experience, no need for money either, I work on tips only ;-). Maybe….. we can set up a forum or so, because this endless string of comments does not seem very productive….. Willing to host that too on the side. No problem.)

The theme version shows 2.9.11 but i thought you updated to 3.0.1
I have fixed the https change in the logo images but stil get some https errors and probably need to change the map name where the images are
Check it now, updated right now.
And it looks like the old version

I have same problem as Roader with membersearch after the update
if they choose latest members they get 404 page
also profile images are jumping all over site when checking profiles
i am using latest firefox browser

The profile images are dancing all over the site, when one member click on another members profile the profile images from both members are all over the page

This nails it. I read an article on Markus Frind creator of POF and users would freak if he so much as changed a color on his site.

Please take a look now ! It should be ok, for some unknown reason the buddypress.css file from the theme it’s not loaded cannot figured out why !? That’s not relaed to the plugins. To solve that i’ve added entire file content ( /wp-content/themes/sweetdate/buddypress/css/buddypress.css ) to the child theme.
I’ve noticed another thing, if you enable your initial plugins the sidebar will breaks at this moment the sidebar it’s rendered correctly only with bp plugin activated.
Now i will activate back all plugins back, you will have to identity the problematic plugin by disabling them one by one.

Never heard about that site before and this email is a company mail we been using for 5 years for our ecommerce sites and there has never been any fraud as we would bu suspended by the credit card companies if there was any such activities
But when I read the report I can directly see that is a former employe who has been writing it and he had a beef with our company after stealing.

2. When possible, update first on a local COPY. CHECK. You can run wordpress on an old PC or laptop too.
3. When you see strange things, make notes. Make sure developers can REPRODUCE your problem. So make exact notes about what you did and what you saw.
4. When you updated your live system, FIRST put your backup BACK ON LINE. You have users!
5. Open a TICKET. Supply all DETAILS.
6. Developers sometimes need time to figure it out. Just continue as you were going.

Tried to login to your wp admin but i was locked out to check if the child theme causes ( most sure it may be a old sweetdate or buddypress template in your child ) that since on my install using sweetdate 3.0 the search looks ok.
Also i’ve activated that on the demo : https://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/members/
As you can see it’s displayed normally like on my isntall
So as you can see there is no issue with the seach in the theme, maybe some your customizations from your end.

Apparently the cause is, that for that Search Bar to appear correctly, one must have the BP Search plugin activated.
Very bad this, since that default Bar comes in BuddyPress.
Too bad that just to have that bar you has to install that plugin, which consumes resources.
So, what I’m looking for is how to activate it correctly without that plugin.
The other problems are included in the demo, so take the captures from the demo.

@lauraHere again, reporting some things that do not work well in the Theme.
1. (Old topic) In the profile. The text is not seen if the background is very light or white.
2. For iPad and Cell phones. The buttons comment, favorite, delete… are misaligned.
The cancel button has no style (just like post).3. The original text in English and the translations (e.g, Spanish) has many errors. Okey, We can fix it using Poedit but, when you update the Theme, goodbye corrections too.
It seems we can’t find…

4. Groups: Cancel friendship button not aligned with the username.
Search Members without style. On the members page.It seems inconceivable to me that looking for members needs a plugin (bp profile search) to work. Because Bp brings native all these search fields. So, please, fix it.Note: to more plugin (bp profile search), more vulnerabilities and more consumption of resources. I think that plugin is unnecessary, or should be optional.
5. For iPad and Cell phones. Last member of a page without the style of the others.
Buttons View profile and add disproportionated.6. Paid Membership.
Please, add more options.
For example:
– Create groups.
– Add media to the group.
– Add media in comments.
– Search members by name (using the search field).
I say this because it does not make much sense to monitarize so few options:

1. Please be very specific including screenshots that pointing our or videos + live url to can see that! So give me the live url where i can see that. I’m referring to the demo website not your install cuz the missaligned things can be caused by some custom changes or plugins conflicts etc.

The Theme has several errors that I have reported to you for more than 1 year.The errors shown are seen in the DEMO.
In the clean installation, that problem of the search barch appears Members.
You can see the links in the same screenshots.

Esta es la Competencia. Tiene pocas ventas aun, y le faltan varias cosas como incluir rtMedia, Paid Membership… Sin embargo, el Theme se ve más robusto, más organizado incluso para Celulares. Además el desarrollador añadió un módulo de SWAP como el de Tinder, y añadió en el Member Dir. el botón de Enviar mensajes privados directamente. Yo les proporcioné el código php a uds, pero nunca lo usaron. :-/ En fin, ojalá puedan uds mejorar SweetDate.Saludos desde RD.
