Hi 7queen,

I has been set up that Themeforest API KEY many months on sweetdate (Miscellaneous). There’s no update still? Can you tell me what version is currently under? Also is there’s a way I find out what version I have?

Btw, also that Themeforest Username says input the username? I enter my domain name instead my username on themeforest account, is that why I’m not getting updater?

Btw, Doing a test. I just changed the Themeforest Username from the domain name TO my Themeforest login name.

If there’s an update, would it be automatic updated itself or would be a popup message from the plugin area like others? If so, I don’t see the sweetdate anyhow?

Here the auto update function also does not work. It worked earlier, so it is probably not at my side where it goes wrong. I will do the update manually since I have changed a lot internally.

Hello, update notices should appear at Dashboard > Updates
If you do not see it, you can also try a manual update, is just uploading the new theme zip to wp-content/themes ( not the child theme )

dud me, that was awhile back ago and was the very last updated that I did. I downloaded and updated the CHILD-THEME instead!!! That because is the child-theme that is for the site (Active)? Would it be an ISSUE?

What can I do to fix it?

Hello, the child theme should be activated always, but never updated, because if you save custom changes there, like custom php or css, the update would delete them
So, have child theme activated as the actual theme but never update it, update the MAIN theme 🙂

Hi Laura,

I got the sweetdate Update to 2.9.3 for the 1st time today! I guess after I finally changed the Themeforest username NOT the domain name, it knows who I am now LOL

Hi Laura,

As far as I know, there must be a bug for the sweetdate updater? I am getting a funky page specially using the I.E browser?

Here is the screen shot for this funky page, is like reading Chinese? It happen here and there clicks on the links just about every 3-4 clicks such as links/menu/pages/etc?

I think there is a encoding problem related to your server, try to deactivate gzip or set a lover level for gzip compression, tell to your web developer this or on the hosting provider.

Hi Laura, Radu,

The issue has been fixed after all 🙂 there was a plugin I installed for long time was causing the site go white off and on and these funky pages.. This happens on every 1 – 2 clicks within the site.

I finally deleted . The site is now functioning normal YAHOO. What a headache for months LOL.
