Translation

Hi, have been trying to translate the content of the page without any success.
Normally the translation process for a WP is very straight forward, with that said normally all you do is grab the .po file from the theme language folder, translate what you need and then upload it according to what you language is supposed to be (in my case se_SV.po/mo) and make sure the config.php file has the code string: define (‘WPLANG’, ‘sv_SE’); included.

Fore some reason it just won’t work here and i would like to have some guidance to why.
I have been browsing around on the forum and the closest i can find is the link below and it feels like i have covered everything there.

Hi, since you also use some plugins that generate frontend content, you need to translate those plugins like Buddypress too. Theme strings should be easily translated from the en_US.mo by copying it an renaming it to your languge.
You can try a plugin like Codestyling Localization that makes the process easier

When using Codestyling localization plugin, will the translations be deleted when anything is upgraded, for example WordPress, Kleo theme, bbPress and BuddyPress? I’ve translated it into another language and I’m using a child theme.

Hi, yes should have a backup of your language theme files located in kleo theme /languages folder. It is good to save plugins translations also, just in case
