VERY slow theme

My site was loading in about 5-6 seconds on average but for some reason it can take 3x’s as long…your demo theme is super fast but mine is horrible…every time i use a cache plugin it always ruins the look of the site as well..i only have 7 members on the site and I have a VPS through bluehost

Installed P3 Plugin Profiler
Check attachments
Rtmedia is very slow right now, you could try using “plugin organizer” plugin to deactivate rtmedia at the homepage
You could also contact them about the speed issue

Ok…the site is faster so thank you, but now almost everything you click on takes me to the membership level page…if you click on aaron morris profile, quick search, activity, groups, etc…

when i click on my profile it pulls it up…but when i click on anyone elses profile it takes me to a membership page, which i actually deleted off the site so I don’t know how it even pulls it up

from the profile page when you click on home it takes to main page but it logs you out and says to log in again…but if you hit the refresh button it automatically logs you in…

when you go to log back in, it says you are already logged in and to refresh the page…

also, my brother aaron morris has an account on my site….when i try to sign in under a my personal account

it says my password is wrong, but I know it’s right….then my brother was able to successfully login under my account on his computer, but when I tried it again, after clearing my cache cookies etc…it still says I have the wrong password, eventhough my brother aaron used to same one…

I fixed post #104598 above….I just had to change the access level on the admin side.

ALSO, i just changed my password so I could log in and it let me, but when it logged me in, it takes me to the membership page…which i had deleted off the site with a link to click and go to the home screen, but when I click the link it automatically logs me out

Hello, lets see, the only thing i did was enable object cache, try deactivating it
If you could explain a bit more what happens, the membership page is because of paid memberships pro, if you have something restricted then it should redirect you to the membership page, i thinks that is what happens, try deactivating paid memberships pro?

i just tried to login with my user name and password…when i hit the “login” button it disappears like nothing happened, so I tried it again…this time it says I’m already logged in and to hit the refresh button…when I do then it logs me in….i’ve also deactivated membership pro

ALSO…when it does the same thing when i try to log in with my administrator information and I have to go through the same process as above BUT I can’t access the dashboard anymore…what do i do?

Hello, try to deactivate the cache plugin, clean your browser cache and try again, its a cache issue

I had to disable the entire plugin and now it works correctly……but wasn’t the plugin what helped it speed up?

Any other ideas on how to speed up my site? when i run a gtmetrix.com speed test it shows several things that I have an “f” grade for…how much would 7th Queen charge me to fix these and make the site as fast as possible? Here’s what gtmetrix.com says:

i’m going through what you sent..but I can’t even log into my site to do anything because it just keeps saying “sending info, please wait” so it won’t even log in…..as of right now, it’s been 45 minutes and still the little icon just goes around and around..

I think website speed it good now, but this seems to be a completely different issue as it’s not allowing anyone to log in to the site

Questions:

It says to add the code to my .htaccess…but where exactly do I add it? at the beginning or end etc?

okay…so I was able to put in the search bar… http://www.ibssingles.com/wp-admin and it let me into the dashboard…yes, i had issues with w3cache last time but when i looked…zencache was active, so I deactivated it and now it lets me log in as normal..

I know that cache is suppose to speed up the site but zencache and w3cache both mess my site up any other cache systems you recommend

Hello, then i suggest to use a cdn like maxcdn or cloudflare, as if cache doesn’t work that’s the alternative
