    Hi Abe,

That does change the colors of the icons, but I’m not interested in that. What I wanted to change was the HOVER colors for the icons (unless it’s using an alpha channel and it only gets darker on hover because it’s losing transparency…?). I’m also looking for a way to make the icons smaller and the selector you suggested doesn’t allow me to do that, important declaration or no. (see attached for a screen of what happens when I use any of the selectors to resize the icons)

Thank you for helping, but I’m still looking for a solution.

    Hello!

I’ve been trying to change the icon’s hover color and resize them. However, I cannot figure out what css selector to target. I’ve tried the standard #buddypress div#item-nav ul #blogs-personal-li a:before but that doesn’t change the icon, only the container (and the text). Can you give me some pointers?

(I want to change all of the icons, not just one. I’ve already swapped out the icons I want. 😀 )

    Thank you!

Hmmmmmm nuts. For me the big thing is really the login/register, user avatar + notifications. WooCommerce doesn’t matter so much since I’m not using it. I mean, I *could* just set up identical menus on every single sub-site and have it work fine (I’ve done that before), but that’s a bit of a nightmare to manage if I want to change anything and I have more than five sites (which I do).

Currently I’ve just modified the wordpress toolbar to be my global navigation… and that might actually be better to use since it also appears in the backend, but it’s still a bit of a shame because I really like the Kleo header styling and function.

In any case, thank you! I’ll mark this as resolved. 🙂

Ok, so the issue is unrelated and had to do with a couple minor buddypress modifications I was making. I’ve fixed the issue and now it’s working OK. The styling issues about the side menu are still there however.

I’ve also noticed that if you set the side menu to OVERLAY instead of DEFAULT it appears behind the main header/menu area if the header/menu area’s background color isn’t set to transparent. The sidemenu toggle also appears on top of the sidemenu when it’s set to overlay.

I know it’s possible to attach images to an update manually, but I wanted to pull either an in-context image or the featured image of a post/page/cpt automatically and display that in the feed. RT Media, as far as I know, only does manual image insertions and that’s not quite what I’m looking to do.
Sorry I wasn’t clear about this to start with, and thank you for the help so far!
