    I found the problem.
I had the transparent menu setting turned on for my child theme config.

    Thanks Laura,

(for some reason I’m not receiving notifications when this ticket is updated)

Did you try the child theme? This screenshot looks like it was taken with the parent theme activated?
As I said in my original post, it’s the child theme that’s not working for me.
I’m using the parent theme in the meantime. I just flipped to the child theme and the problem is still there.
And now I can’t update my theme without losing all of my design/configuration options.

Ok I think my issue was different than the original poster’s. I’ve resolved mine now.

Hi I did a bit more digging and I think it’s the K elements plugin that causes the gap.
    I’ve attached two screenshots:
    1. With K elements activated.
    2. The same page with K elements deactivated

I’m having a similar issue. It appeared after I updated the theme and plugins. And it only appears when I activate the child theme, not the main theme files.

I’m not sure if my issue is exactly the same. I’m happy to open my own ticket and provide screenshots of the difference between when I activate the main theme and when I activate the child theme.

Awesome. This explanation is helpful. I had the matching order reversed.
I have a follow up question.

Can you search a field/match against a multi-select check box field or does the matching only work with drop-down (single) select options?

In my example above, a person can be a student, teacher and an assistant. And they can have multiple interests. I’d like to be able to search on a “I am” and the “Interested in” fields which can have more than one entry.

    Thanks for your stellar support.

    elan
