I found the reason. A thumbnail is showed if the option “Display media on post page” (Settings related to blog) is enabled. But what if I dont want to show the image before the post on a single post?

I found that the problem manifests itself only in the kleo-child theme. Even if functions.php file is empty. In Kleo the thumbnail is visible.

Hello, I’m using a Kleo-child theme and have already deleted all code in functions.php. Also I tried to disconnect all plugins, but the problem remains.
I once again draw your attention to the fact that the problem arose immediately after updating Kleo, functions.php and plugins remained the same.
