Hi Radu,
did you have BuddyPress active..?
I will test this again with only the relevant plugins active and see if I can get it to work…
thanks,
Iain
imacgParticipantHi Laura,
thanks for getting back to me.
re how did I create my login page…?
I used the Kleo shortcode
[kleo_register register_title=”Register Now” show_for_users=”yes” el_class=”regi-class”]
and when that form is filled in on the front-end it does not submit the data, it simply redirects to /register and they have to do it all again, so with BuddyPress working that seems to make this form and shortcode redundant..?
Is that how it is supposed to behave..?
If I have to modify the BuddyPress register page directly then I will, but you should make it clear to users that the Kleo registration form will not work with BuddyPress if that is indeed the case.
re disabling activation emails, I had seen that plugin you refer to but was worried that it appeared to not have been updated in 3 years. I found a paid plugin which is well supported, and I think it might be worth investing in.

This feature would be a nice add to Kleo out of the box.. (hint 🙂
Thanks for the reference to WordPress emails article too…

Iain
imacgParticipantHello again.
re
1. Yes via CSS with this CSS
.kleo-mobile-switch {
display: none !important;
}That stops the mobile menu coming on ok, but I still have issues with how the desktop menu responds as the viewport reduces.
At 991px, the header stops being sticky and the menu nav disappears. I have my nav menu set to one item which pulls out a sidebar menu in my solution when clicked, so is there a fix to keep the header with logo and nav item fixed below 991px and to keep the nav menu displaying..?
thanks
imacgParticipantHi Radu,
I also retreed on a fresh install and all was ok, so on my main site I deleted the theme and child and reloaded them and it worked great, so probably close this now..thanks for your help,
cheers,
Iain
imacgParticipantHi Radu,
clean Kleo install, no mods on child theme, but when child theme activated and cover image changed, cover image reverts to grey gradient when you change BuddyPress pages, but when switched back to Kleo main theme the new cover image shows. On child when adding new image it gets accepted and shows on the the page you are on, e.g. Profile, but if you then go to other page like Activity it is gone…
try it on a fresh install yourself…? I tried it on one with nothing but BuddyPress and K elements active…
cheers,
Iain
imacgParticipantCan you confirm that the FB sign up button is added to a page via a Kleo shortcode…out of K elements and available in Visual Composer…
thanks
imacgParticipantThanks Radu,
re 2) I have set up my fb app ok, but how do I then get it into a login page….?
cheers, Iain
