Hey Laura,

thanks for your help. I updated all stuff to their latest versions right now and even tried to turn on debugging but still nothing happens. At least I changed the design to a default theme and deactivated all plugins -> still the same issue. Seems that Buddypress has whyever some problems with the group join button on the detail page of a group. The group join button on the groups list is still working fine…

I don’t think that you’re be able to help me because it’s not related to your theme and/or plugins.
