2- What you sent me is a group forum, not a forum. Forums are different than gruops forums, groups forums are inside the group and for group members, while forums are public and has its own page /forums/

Hello, there is no car sharing option at styling options. Where did you see that?
The car sharing demo is just some colors and another search form. Search forms can be setup at Sweetdate > Buddypress
Profile fields at Users > Profile fields

If you set the register page correctly it should redirect
Go to Settings > Buddypress and set register page and other pages
If it doesnt work,check your permalinks, they should be at post name.
If still have the issue, try to deactivate some plugins and try again
