Thanks for your reply I see on that plug in that it only allows people who are alrady members to view and log in. BUt says that it disallows registration for new members.
My goal is to allow anyone to be able to register. But that I do not want member content (including how many members there are, who are the latest members etc…) to be visible unless you are a member of the site and logged in.
IN any case though I installed the plug in and it seems that it doesnt work as even when I go incognito and hit the site as though I am notlogged in, I see the slider on front page of new members. Additionally the member tab is open to click on and view.
I have a few user accounts that I use to test my site. when I clicking “profile” inthe top right corner it takes me to the user profile page. But I don’t see an “edit’ button when I get there. I do see the “base” tab. But that’s it.
I don’t see an ‘edit’ button when I go to my test user profilee. Can you give a screenshot or directions
GOttit.. THings are definitely in teh right direction. HOw do I remove those two videos on the front page. – And just leave that are blank for future use.
Yes I am referring to the other text on the front page. NOt the text in the slider. The static text toward the bottom of the page says what I quoted earlier . And that is what I want to chagne

In the attached image, the “IM A” group is supposed to be associated with the values that are in that group. on the back end it is all correct. It is the front end where the registration box says “I’M A” that it is displaying the values for the wrong group. It is displaying the values for the “Looking FOR” Group.
Thank you agian. On my Users>profile fields. I edited “I’m A” with the values of Home owner, BUsiness owner Day Laborer and Cleaning AIde”
I edited “Looking for a” with Cleaning job” Help “Cleaning” “day Laborer” et..
However as in this picture attached . On the front end It is coming out at the registration fields as
“I’m a” – “Cleaning job…” on the top field of the registratio page.
Also, ifilled out the fields on the back end for “I’m a” and Looking for a”. I did this multiple times and am putting the correct values in for the correct ones on the backs end. But on the front end, it comes out mixed up. Can you advise?

I am now not able to get back into that wordpress admin panel to make the changes and modify the theme. It takes me to this page wehn I got to taht php page and put in the admin log in. Not sure what I am doing wrong ..
