    I’m on it 🙂

But anyhow: Would you suggest having any plugins for security (like Wordfence) ?
Only reason asking is, that the software makers of the plugins, and their bloggers around the net, thinks we should install all of them (sure – but is it needed?)…

But back to topic – I’m about to disable them now.

    @Abe

    What restrictions is that?

I have uinstalled Bulletproof and SEO optimizer.
Though, I do have Worfence – not feeling secure with that off; but then again I’m not sure if it’s needed at all?

What do you recommend, as a minimum, regarding safety?
I can disable them all for you to test it again.. Just need to know what is needed, and what is not.

    Thanks 🙂

I know, but on my site – multiple users tells they have trouble logging in by FB.
Even my old dad, and I’ve seen it on his Macbook Pro, with Safari.

It should be simple enough, entering in the App ID..
    But it gives trouble.

It’s on differents medias, operating systems..

And recently, users that was not able to get in – suddenly CAN, and the opposite too.

    Any advices?

Aprreciate any help here – as it’s a site killer, when people (some) are not able to login.

Please, I’ve made a post below this.

I really need the implemented FB-login to work flawlessly, as this social plugin seems of no use for me, as avatars of existing users gets missing..

Abe, please look at my post below, regarding this FB login.

    Thanks!

    Abe:

Woah! Should we disable Facebook Login, from the KLEO template options?
How do we get the fb-login then?

Or am I misunderstanding you? 🙂

On my dads MacBook Pro, with Safari for example:

Clicking on the facebook login button, a pop-up windows appears, but closes very quickly.
After a while a message appears: “Please click again to login with Facebook and allow the application to use your email address”

Then I click again… And nothing! Until the message reappears in a continous loop.

Ok, so I’ve figured out that it’s not only related to Android users.

It’s different types of users, with different types of OS’s and browsers/platforms.
But not all user, only some – but still a huge flaw, leaving people to cancel and disappear from my site.
    – Of course, as login should be of no problem at all!

    What happens is also different.

Most of all, it opens a new windows, where the fb-app requests permission for email and such.
Then it says, that you have to close that popup window, before it logs in on the main site-window (that’s when it works!)

Other times it does nothing, after closing the popup window.

At other times, nothing happens at all.

And for my own case, it only returns the site with a hashtag in the end of the url… That’s weird though, as it had been working for my admin-user (i does not work with my user anymore)

Please, I need some help on this one. Been trying to go through the codes in function-facebook-login.php

But it seems there are some KLEO functions included in the FB scripts, when comparing to the FB developers page-code guides… So I’m not really fancying messing with it.

If needed, ask for more information, and I’ll supply with answers – I think this is a common problem in the software, rendering people leaving without a word about it – or of course, manually registering, but I think that’s not the path for most people.

    Help! 🙂

    Kind regards
    Martin
