Yup. I just tested it. Not working for me when I use the front-end to change my name, only works on the backend. Is there a way for me to check / update the file that handles that?
MikeParticipantI think you are correct about this issue. For some reason, even though in my front end profile I had set my name as Michael Pfaff (and it worked for the BuddyPress stuff), on the backend, when I looked at my Display name / Nickname it just had Mike / mike. When I added Michael Pfaff as a nickname, it updated correctly.
So, to isolate the issue: how do I confirm that when someone updates their name on the front end (Profile -> Edit) it also updates on the backend (User -> Nickname / Display name publicly as)?
MikeParticipantAnother example from activity stream:

MikeParticipantSent me to a weird, “Cheatin’ uh?” page…….

MikeParticipantYou’re right. Hmmm. Then, I guess I need to change the Title, not the actual breadcrumb. Is that a different problem entirely?
MikeParticipantGood to know. I think the normal “pages” change, but some of the BuddyPress breadcrumbs, like “Site-Wide-Activity” don’t, even if I change the Page / Slug name.
Thanks!
MikeParticipantIt’s highly likely I do NOT. How do I fill that out? Thanks for your help and apologies for being ignorant.
MikeParticipantYou can still access the Log In With Facebook via the login popup or other pages sidebar. Not sure why that single page is still in maintenance mode. Sorry.
MikeParticipantStrange. It’s turned off and working for main page / other pages. http://www.nerdlouisville.org
MikeParticipantI’m having a similar issue and I’m just in the process of setting up the site. I wanted to get registration tackled first. When I click on the Log in with Facebook buttons, it just adds a # to domain.

Any ideas?
