ParticipantHi, thank you Radu!
The code you gave me to redirect to Profile after login…Is that code supposed to redirect directly to Profile page after login, instead of remaining on startpage and having to click on Profile button? That would be great, but it doesn’t seem to work. I also deleted web history.
I put it in dashboard > Appareance > Editor > Child > PHP.

The way I resolved the login-issue….Is it okay? Or do you think I still can have those issues for paying members getting redirected to Membership Level Page and not being able to login? The code you gave me was for that purpose or to land directly on Profile Page after login??
Thank you so much!!

ParticipantOooh!! Thank you, Kieran!! Wonderful! Thanks a lot!! 🙂
The translated labels are correct – thanks!!Oceanglim
Participant…..and by adding that widget, it seem like the upper right login/profile -button works again like it should :).
Is this the correct way to fix this?

ParticipantHi again,
I THINK I have fixed the login-issue…Maybe not the right way….?
In Appareance > Widgets I added “(BuddyPress) Log In”-widget in Sidebar Principal.See screenshot:

Participant….also, when trying to reach Frontend Profile area from Backend Dashboard > Users > Oceanglim (my admin profile), I get redirected to Membership Levels page!
This seem to be the same issue I have had from time to time even at live site, no matter the settings in Theme Options > Memberships > Membership Settings.
But at my staging site, I think it happened after you fixed the Frontend Profile menu issue.
Would be great if we could resolve this
ThanksJenni

ParticipantHi Radu,
I do have that setting “Reload the current page”.But it doesn’t help.
Please try to register and then login, or just login with Evelina (password: evelina):
I’ll try to explain this issue better:
This is the way it should be: When I login as admin at backend and open frontend homepage, the login-button at top right corner will show as “PROFILE”-button, right? (as I am already logged in)
Well, this doesn’t work. The LOGIN-button is still a LOGIN-button although I am logged in at backend.[attachment file=201483]
So when I try to login at frontend homepage, it says: You are already logged in – Refresh page. So I refresh page, and still there is no PROFILE-button. That button still shows as LOGIN.
If I try to login with another account (not admin), it still says: You are already logged in – please refresh page (which is not true)
I don’t quite get why you sent me those links….They are not from my site, and doesn’t refer to my issues. Mistake??
Appreciate your help!

Participant1. I see, thanks Radu!
2. Of course, thanks! Now I saw Child Theme was deactivated. No problem then!
3. Sorry, I mean frontend: Startpage > Login
I press login-button. Then login-popup shows. I fill in login details and click Login-button. Then it says: You are already logged in – Refresh page. So I click the Refresh button and I get redirected to startpage again and the Login button that should now be a Profile button, is still a Login button, which means I can never reach (members) Profile area. Try:Thank you

ParticipantThank you!
– But what is the difference between rtMedia and BPalbum?– Anyway, since you tested things at bildafamilj.wpstaging.com/wp-admin, some things changed:
My pink registration form got green, and the blue menu background shows even at frontpage.– But more important is that it’s impossible to login to profile area
Did you do any changes that could have caused this?
Can I import Theme Options settings, or will the Profile area menu issue show up again if I do so?Thanks
