Hi:
It is not odd that you’re not seeing it because it only happens on my Lenovo Windows work computer. I finally tried it on an Acer Windows computer, and no problem. I said it before and I’ll say it again, Windows sucks. There are never such problems on a Mac.

Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi:
Well, I installed Chrome and it also had the icon disappear as soon as it appeared. Thus, it won’t work for me on Windows 10 with the Firefox, IE, Edge, and Chrome browsers. Strange?
Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Radu:
I work on an iMac and all is well, including iPads, iPod and iPhone. I tested it on a Windows 10 computer, and there, no matter the browser, and after I emptied the cache, the logo still appears for about a second and then disappears.

Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Laura:
No need as indicated above; it was resolved by your Kleo update.
Thanks,
Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Radu:
Yes, all filed had been populated with the right images (logos).

The problem was fixed when you updated the plugin, although now it’s 5.4.5.1, and the pesky reminder is back again. As you know, we can’t update it from the Plugins section because it was packaged with Kleo.

Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Laura:
I checked several browsers, and while they all show the website very nicely on Mac devices, the logo appears and quickly disappears on Windows devices. Why would a plugin create this conflict only in Windows, since it’s obviously not the browser? Please, I have to resolve this very quickly.

Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Laura:
There’s a pesky, unremovable reminder to update Slider Revolution, but it has to be done manually since it was included with the Kleo theme, and the current version is 5.4.5.
Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Laura:
Why would I deactivate any plugins? Why would the logo appear for a second and disappear only in Windows?

Patrick
pohanaParticipantThe author of Popup Maker couldn’t find a solution so I did myself. I simply eliminated all popups and replaced them with pages. It took time, but the result justified the means.
pohanaParticipantHi:
So you’re saying that it has to do with the plugin, not the Search function. I knew that to some degree. I was hoping that you could tell me why. I guess not.
Patrick
pohanaParticipantYes! That’s what I’ve been saying all along. The popups work fine everywhere except for the search forms.
pohanaParticipantI’m attaching pics of the page with the search form. Perhaps it may help you. It’s one page from top to bottom divided into four parts.

pohanaParticipantHi Radu,
I really cannot provide you with any admin access. However, as you mentioned, all these popup pages (popups) use the “popup” post type, nothing else. As I mentioned and as you tested, they work everywhere except for the Search forms where they lead to empty pages (just the menus) after they are closed.
I’m not sure about what you mean when you mention to “copy the slug and post it in the context area”.
There’s still the issue of the results that lead to 404 pages.
Thanks,
Patrick
pohanaParticipantI’m sorry but I can’t. You can see what I mean without the admin credentials.
Thanks,
Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi Radu:
When I modify the shortcode as you suggested, there are no results altogether, so that’s not the solution. As for the popup working correctly, just click on any link on the Models or Departed pages.
Thanks,
Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi,
It seems that you also misunderstood me like Laura did. Please see the attached screenshots! The third result, in the case of the “chaplin” example, occurs only when you press Enter, which some users will surely do. And when you click on that third result, you get the 404 page.
As for the popups, I use Popup Maker, and it works fine everywhere except through the Search function, where you end up, after it is closed, on an empty page. There is no way that is given or that I know of to program the close button. As I said, it works well everywhere else. Why not in the Search function?Patrick

Thanks!
pohanaParticipantHi:
What do you mean by you don’t see any issue? You should read my questions again because every issue that I mention is there when I look at it like you from the outside. (1) Pressing enter in the search field without entering anything yields 189 results. (2) Entering, “chaplin”, for example, yields three results, two good and one that leads to a 404 page. (3) Following a good result (when you close the popup), you are taken to a page that only contains the menus, nothing else. Every issue that I mention is there.
Patrick
pohanaParticipantAlso, yeah another problem, when there’s nothing typed in the search field and I press enter, many results appear.
October 28, 2016 at 21:33 in reply to: Remove a specific icon from the Kleo Social Sharing element #141960pohanaParticipantIt works; thanks!
pohanaParticipantHi,
The site is still under development so it’s impossible to share. But then, I think that I was clear enough. Is there a way to change the colour of the lines between the particles? The colour of the dots can be changed, but the lines between them always remain white.
Thanks,
Patrick
pohanaParticipantHi,
My issue is not with the background. I know that when it’s white you cannot see the links or the dots given that their default colour is white. I want to change the colour of the links. I can change the colour of the dots, but I didn’t find a way to change the colour of the links between the dots.
Patrick
pohanaParticipantI actually found the solution. Changing colors in the footer section is not sufficient; you have to do it in the socket section as well, and it works 🙂
pohanaParticipantHi,
I have the same problem with the footer background colour; it won’t change. It appears to change momentarily, but then it reverts to the default black.
Thanks,
Patrick
