Thanks for the css but found out that the issue was not with the theme but the CDN.
Excluded .css files from the CDN and the words enclosed within strong tags are bolder without having to add the css you provided.
Thanks for your help. You can mark this issue as resolved.
rafiuddinmParticipantHere is screenshot for the winner (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) which is in fact being enclosed within strong tags.

“The winners are being highlighted using strong tag but as you can see here they are not showing in bold text.

Same with the title of the movie Dunkirk here in the comment.

Why is The code screenshot you provided not showing the winner (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) which is in fact being enclosed within strong tags.
Here is the code.
- “Call Me by Your Name”
- “Dunkirk”
- “The Post”
- “The Shape of Water”
- <b>“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”</b>
Dunkirk being highlighted was in comment not post. Here is the screenshot for that.

Basically I want words which are enclosed within the strong tag to appear in bolder font than the rest of the text.
For example if I highlight the following word using the b or strong tag it will appear with a bolder font.
