Something’s messed up then. I used poedit to rename all my groups to Alliances but when I click on Alliances on the buddypress page it directs me to members/scottie_sirius/groups. Same with the link on my main nav toolbar. Can I change that on the buddypress toolbar? http://www.alterverse.com/alliances works correctly and shows the Create an Alliance link.
It’s not set to use the Groups carousel page. I haven’t added anything to it.
Not sure what you mean.There’s nothing on the Groups page for creating a group.

OK, I switched to the child theme and now most everything is back to normal.
Still wondering what Go Pricing plugin is though.I made my changes in the editor under Theme Options. Isn’t that where it’s supposed to be done?
I got my quick css because I saved it in a text file before I updated.Ahh, it looks like you activated my main theme not the child theme, is that the problem?
ok, I deleted it but now a bunch of my settings are gone it looks like. Any way to easily get them back? The menu bar and the buttons and various colors are all out of whack. The icon, the logo etc. are missing. My quick css stuff went missing too…lol Luckily I copy and saved that off to the side just in case. It looks like I’m going to have to change everything back.
ok, got it and replaced the old version. Do I have to do anything so the dashboard realizes I have the latest version?
It’s still telling me I need to update.oops, I didn’t realize it but the little white circles above Messages, Notifications, Friends etc are white on white too. How do I change the text to black there?

Is there a way remove the Follow buttons from the top menu without uninstalling the plugin?

Is there a good method for allowing people to make testimonials that I can approve and then have them go directly to the testimonials carousel after approval?
I’m looking for a good way to allow people to post stories or personal blogs but I just don’t know enough about WP or BP. No idea where they would go to post them or where they would show up.
Where can I find a list of shortcodes? I want to change up some things on the counter section. Like maybe web page visits?
Is there a chat system you guys recommend?
And finally, I need a slick way to post news blurbs/announcements.
I know I’ll have more questions as time goes on but I’ll stop here for now.

I don’t know what you mean by install the imagemagick extension.
I made these other changes to php.ini but it hasn’t resolved the issue.I’m the host myself. What is the imagemagick extension? Does it need to be installed or does it need to be removed if it is installed? This is a Windows 2008 server.
I can no longer see anything in my Media library either. I see the file upload and then I get this error in a pink box with a red Error button. “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” I’ve been deactivating one plugin after another to see if one of them is responsible but no luck so far.
