Are you saying that SweetDate is different from KLEO and BuddyApp when using the Profile Field system, or are they identical. Please break down the differences, and what is required for each to work with this.

This is the requirement. I do not know which theme will be best positioned between SweetDate, KLEO, and BuddApp.

Requirements (out of the box) :
1- Sig up, register.
2- Membership Levels
3- Integrated payments gateway
4- Content and page builders
5- Advanced Search – Search profiles by their fields, whatever fields they maybe. SweetDate has that for that niche, does KLEO and BuddyApp that.
6- Custom fields for profiles (out of the box, already integrated with some kind of advanced search). Without using external plugins, because they will require integration into the theme, and search system, in my opinion.
7- Roles and Permissions – WP users are not always BuddyPress ‘members’. There is a gap that is filled by third party plugins.

These are the basics.

Everything looks good. What the differences between Kleo and Sweetdate. I know SD is based on Kleo I can see from the source code. I am creating another membership but it is not dating. Knowing the differences will help make that decision. I think SD could be used outside dating.

Hi,
I hope all is well. I was getting gateway errors when I setup PayPal Pro. Those errors have gone away when I enabled PayPal Express. It is probably best to test out a payment. IS there anything that I have overlooked in general which you can make best practice recommendtations, that would be highly appreciated.

I hope all is well. I have done all that, but I have not tested out the gateway yet. I am still trying to wrap my head around the Membership Levels.

1- I would like to have a 6 or 12 month trial period, for example, at a fixed cost, and then into a monthly after that. I have done something like that, but wanted to know if what I have implemented is accurate. Thank you

Hi Kieran,
I have a home page issue:
1- I have created a new page called zrhp1, and assigned it as the home page.
2- I have added a bg image from the page editor backend
3- THen used Elementor to add the Search Profile form.

In doing so, the search form has ended up below the bg image. Secondly, the search form is reporting an error.

“BP Profile Search 4.7.8: Form 0 was not found, or has no fields.”

Please provide a best practice route in setting up the home page. SHould a bg be added via Elementor rather than the page edit backend area.

I added a new Membership level. I have some questions about setting up a membership level. THis is what I would like to achieve:

1- For the first year user pays $35.99
2- After the year, it automatically renews at $5.99 (for example)

I have tried several combinations and was not able to achieve this. If this is not possible, it can be a feature request.

I was not aware that this plugin had support. This is obviously a great thing. Another issue that I have encountered, or at least I need advice.

1- WP-backend access – What role is the member going to be assigned automatically by Paid Memberships Pro, or buddpress? I have never used BP before.
a) I would like to make sure that all Members using the dating site are not able to access any part of the WP admin toolbars, top menus, and so forth. It this feature is part of your solution, please provide guidance. If it is an external solution, please provide best practices, code snippets, or plugins.

While we are at this point of the tech support. There are other issues as well.
1- Members – What roles are supported for WP profiles to be shown on the members page. This is because when a user has used the sign up button, a WP profile is created, but it is not automatically added to the Member page.

2- When I try to ciick on the “Import Buddpress profile fields” the error generated is “could not imoport. Please make sure you have Buddypress installed and activated.”
