I see that you avatars still doesn’t work, from what i’ve read on the bp forums a possible solution can be by deleting the htaccess file… (rename it) then go to wp-admin -> settings -> permalinks put it on the default and save changes and try again, on the testing subdomain install the avatar still works after moving right ?

Please go to your themeforest account and re-download from there the latest sweetdate package.

Yes but do a database backup in both places to have it these in case of something works wrong..

Yes, but instead to replacing that database, the db can be imported separately and just change the database login credentials to the new one in wp-config.php, by using your complete db in the location where avatar works theoretically it should works.

This is getting really crazy! So, I right now discovered that my parent theme and not child theme was activated! Also 3 plugins were activated that I have not activated; rtMedia, bbPress and WooCommerce. So now I deleted them completely. Anyway I activated ChildTheme…and POFF, my site broke AGAIN!!! Same thing happened some weeks ago! I am sooooooo, tired of this (sorry) shit that is happening to me ALL the f…cken time!

Anyway!!!!! I NEEEEEED a fresh SweetDate! AND PLEASE, SEE TO THAT I GET A FRESCH DOWNLOAD FOLDER ON MY MAIL!!!
I did find my ThemeForest Account:

But there is no SweetDate Download there. And everywhere else there is this 57 dollar or something download button, that doesn’t interest me, as I already payed once.

If you activate child theme and your site will become broken it means that you have some unclosed tags in the php or something… anyway i’m not allowed to provide link to the there here but… here is the link : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bxo5b6iHWRMwS1F3M185TWRVVmc it’s compatible with latest buddypress.

The content in the folder looks a lot different from my previous. I can’t find child theme in it, nor the WordPress folder, that I have in the previous SweetDate folder, or do I need to extract if before uploading it to wp-admin??

I cannot provide you of unclosed tags example it can vary…

You can delete parent theme and child theme but backup if before for safety from wp-admin -> themes

Hello Radu,
I have now created a another subdomain, and importing step by step from maindomain, along that I check Profile Photo function for every step I do.

SweetDate is supposed to come with over 40 inner pages. Only pages I can see in WP-ADMIN > PAGES are Activity page, Members Page and Sample Page. I can’t find the pages in the download folder either. How come? Is there anything I need to do?
I saw somewhere something I need to do to load them into PAGES, but I don’t remember where…??

Or can I import pages from main domain? HOw?

I am redoing my site and importing step by step.
Right now I am redoing my Profile Fields as I couldn’t find any plugin which could handle export/import of Profile fields.

A question to that…
After each field there is a checkbox with the text “Default Value”. What is it for? Can you explaín how and for what I use that?
On the right side of the fields-section it says: “Autolink
On user profiles, link this field to a search of the Members directory, using the field value as a search term.
Autolink status for this field”
Could you please explain “using the field value as a search term.”?

For the user fields import export you can test and use this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/export-user-data/

The default value is used from example if you have a field with three options

one
two
three

and you want to have one of them preselected by all users check Default value for that fields and when users sign-up it will see that fields with the default value pre-completed

The auto-link feature works like that, if two or many users have from example same interests : webdesign value in the the interests field it will add a link to value and it will be listed all members with same value in field.

For the online status option it can be enabled from wp-admin -> theme options -> buddypress- > Online status

1. I didn’t understand much of your reply, so if you could explain in another way…Then I might understand better.

2. It seems you misunderstood my question about Presentation text on Members Page. I attach you another pic. I made a red circle of the text I refer to.

3. I am having an issue…..Only one out of three Member Levels shows…?? I had this issue once before I remember….

4. As you might remember I am doing the site from start at a subdomain to make the profile pic work.
As I started doing the Loco Translation at the main-site, I continued there, and guess I can download the .mo and .po files and upload them to the subdomain, right??
And then move the site from subdomain to maindomain..
Or should I upload the .mo and .po files to the main domain after tranfering the site??

Yes you can coopy po and mo files from old installation website to new one in same location and to continue to translate strings on the new installation website.

Regarding the membership packages go to wp-admin -> theme options -> memberships and set an order for these (see screenshot)

Regarding .mo and .po files….I downloaded them…and now I have uploaded them to the “new” site in File Manager > wp-content > languages > themes/plugins. But still it doesn’t work….Is there anything else I need to do????

Please make sure that you put mo and po files in same exact location with exact filenames

Example if you have downloaded po and mo files from wp-content/languages/ you should upload it to same location and so on….

I didn’t download them from File Manager. I downloaded them directly from Loco Translate on my maindomain to my computer.

Then my host removed all content except Loco Translate and some other plugins, at my maindomain,
and then moved my site (that I rebuilt on a subdomain to make the profile pic work)from a subdomain to maindomain.

But my translations were gone in Loco Translate settings. So I uploaded my translations (.mo and .po files) to File Manager. I uploaded “kleo_framework-sv_SE.mo” and “kleo_framework-sv_SE.po” to File Manager > wp-content > languages > themes,
and “buddypress-sv_SE.mo” + “…po” and “paid-memberships-pro-sv_SE.po” + “…mo” to wp-content > languages > plugins

So….it should work, no? Did I miss anything? What?
Are the .mo and .po file names correct? Did I put them in the correct place??

Why you don’t upload the entire languages folder from your oldsite installation /wp-content/languages to the new one in same location ?

The correct path for sweetdate theme language files is : wp-content/languages/themes/
the language files should be named like that kleo_framework-sv_SE.po and kleo_framework-sv_SE.po

If the language files not applies to the plugins, try to move plugin language files to : wp-content/plugins/PLUGINNAME/languages/

For example pmpro has this slug for the lang fiels : pmpro-sv_SE.po/mo

Now I got most of it translated. The reason why it didn’t translate was because I kept my WordPress-dashboard in English (to make support easier). Changing to Swedish also made all translations (almost) work.

Anyway….Now I need my Searh form back on Profile page and on Members Page. I had problems to make this work at my origianl site as well. I know Laura had to go into my wp-admin and fix it. I have applied the shortcode on Members page….but it doesn’t show. How to put it in Profile area – I have no idea how to do that. Now there are “Latest comments”, Archive, Categories and Meta on the left sidebar. How do I get rid of that?

Very good if the things are improving,i’m glad to hear that !

1. Notifications it refers to things are related directly to you like messages,reply to comments, etc and the activity it’s place where you can see all the users activity photos, status etc..

2. Maybe it refers to your personal activity and also the wall activity for sitewide page where you can see all activity.

3. The files are not required by Sweetdate theme, but leave the twenty sixteen maybe someday you should test something with the default theme and you will need it.

4. The font it’s changing but in all places…where you need to increase the font provide screenshot and provide page url..

The BR should works in text mode from editor, try without that editor or ask on their forum support.

1. I’m happy I have the search form on Members Page and on Profile Page, but it also shows at Activate Page which is a little bit strange, as you cannot use it before you become a member. How can I remove search form from Activate page??

3. Laura helped me with a code to get my Register Form a little transparent and with other colors that was more suitable for the transparency. Well…sure..?

Now when practically all seem to work well, I made a testregistering to check if all translations had worked well (which it hasn’t but I can’t be bothered about that for now). More frustrating is that the Payment function doesn’t work!!!
It says “This transaction couldn’t be completed. please redirect your customer to PayPal”, se attached screenshot.
I tried with different bank accounts, I also asked a friend…but we didn’t get further than this…
I also generated new API signature and updated on Pmp Payment Settings. But still it doesn’t work.

Are you familiar with this issue??
It seemed to work well in May…but not now..
I saw that pmp only offer free licence for only one site, so I deactivated the ones I have on my testdomains and copydomains, deactivated and reactivated pmp on maindomain, but it still doesn’t work.

Yes, I have filled everything in. And I have read your links….but I am confused….

1. It worked in May but not now

2. When I read about it, it seems like one has to use Braintree, Stripe, Authorize.net or Cybersource to be able to use PayPal Express. Then I must say that the settings in PMP payment settings should clearly show that. Instead there is a dropdown where you choose PayPal Express OR one of the others…That is VERY confusing! How should one know????
And then…How come my PayPal Express setting worked well in May???

3. Also, when I looked into PMP Addons, there is a PayPal Express addon, which seem to require an updating of licence, se attached screenshot…
So PayPal Express is not a head gateway, it’s a second option at checkout??

To clarify:
Do I need to update my PMP license for 97 dollars to be able to download the PayPalExpress addon? Was it included in May, but now it requires an updating of PMP license?

4. I just asked a friend to try payment with PayPal account. She uses Mac, and from my PC one can choose paying through PayPal account or pay by card. From her Mac there was no option to pay by card….?

The addon that you are talking about it’s add as secondary payment method pp express, you can see all available free addons on wp-admin -> memberships -> addons. To get the system to work i think you don’t need that and yes if you want that addon you should buy it separately

I don’t know why in may was works and now not, most probably some misconfiguration You should use normal paypal.. paypal standard and on the Gateway Account Email add your email that you are, and from what i know that’s all

Regarding the last qustion strange maybe it was a cache issue ? i don’t know, also you can try to use PayPal Website Payments Pro and api keys and the rest of the required info an be found and generated from your account : https://www.paypal.com/?cmd=_profile-api-signature

The thing is PayPal Website Payments Pro is not supported from Sweden and PayPal Standard seem to be very “buggy”. Actually I get the same issue with my PayPal Express setting that many people do with PayPal Standard. But who knows? Maybe I should try? But I am fed up with issues, so I rather go for something better recommended than something with a lot of reported issues.

So, just to make it clear….“IF” I want to use PayPal Express, is it then not enough to choose PayPal Express in the PMP Payment Settings?? Do I also have to update my PMP with 97 dollars to download the addon??

I don’t think so, in the addon description says that it gives you ability to have the pp express as second option. so if you will choose directly paypal express as main i think it will be ok, test it !

Regarding the #131294 ticket, i’ve read the next ticket that all are fine, i taught that those are ok but i will respond you now.
